Part of my weekly chores is to wash bed sheets, followed by the fun task of putting them back on the bed. Tonight I went to put Morgan's sheets back on her bed but before I could she stopped me. No mama, I want to put my sheets on. I hesitated and said it was okay I was happy to put them on for her (why, I am not sure - a child asking for chores - who would say no?) but she said, no it's okay I know how.
I helped her put her bottom sheet on (those things are tough even for adults) and she finished the rest. Her top sheet took about 5 minutes to get it just right - and just right is exactly what she accomplished. She was very proud of her bed making skills, and I kind of like the idea of one less bed to make. I wonder how she feels about doing her own laundry??? ha ha
